Application Instructions

Thank you for your interest in applying to the International Teachers College (ITC). Please follow these instructions carefully.


1.          Application Deadlines

                a. December 15: Early Admission Deadline

                b. April 1: Final Admission Deadline

                c. May 1: Visa Application and Fee Deadline

                d. Please do not wait until the application deadlines to submit your forms. The

                    earlier you begin the process, the more likely you will be selected for a 

                    scholarship. We will make early offers of acceptance to students who complete

                    the application process prior to December 15.

                e. After we receive all of the required documents, we will contact you to schedule a personal

                    interview, either in person or by Skype.


2.         The required admission forms are located here. Please download them to your computer.

3.         Read the ITC Standards of Conduct document carefully prior to submitting your application. 

             By signing your application you indicate you have read, understand, and agree to follow

             these standards.


4.          Application for Admission

                a. Complete the two-page Application for Admission

                b. Sign at the bottom of the second page

5.          Academic Reference: A teacher or guidance counselor, who is not related to you, should

             complete the two-page form and submit to


6.          Church Reference: A pastor, youth pastor, or church leader, who is not related to you, should

             complete the two-page form and submit to


7.          Scholarship Application

                a. Please complete the scholarship application in as much detail as possible and submit to


                b. If you do not intend to apply for a scholarship, you must email

                    for details about submitting proof of your ability to pay for tuition, room, board, 

                    uniforms, books, and other assigned fees.


8.          Personal Christian Faith Testimony

                a. Please type a 1-2 page testimony that describes your conversion experience, your 

                    assurance of salvation, evidence of your personal walk with Jesus Christ, and why you

                    wish to attend the ITC.

                b. You must personally write this testimony in English and submit it to 



9.          High School and University Transcripts

                a. If you are from Indonesia, you must submit SKHUN/transcript and STTB, both legalized

                    by the principal, and a copy of your Indonesian Personal ID. 

                    Contact for instructions as to how to submit transcripts.

                b. If you are an International students, you must submit:

                         i. Official high school transcripts (with a certified English translation)

                        ii. A copy of the official high school diploma, including a statement of verification from

                             the Department of Education in the country in which the school is located.

                       iii. All transcripts should include grades and the total number of units completed.

                        iv. You may initially submit unofficial documents if final copies are not yet available

                              prior to exams or graduation.

                          v. If you are unable to submit an official high school transcript or diploma please 

                              contact for additional information.

                  c. If you have completed any university course work, please submit official transcripts 

                      from each university you have attended (with an English translation). Again, unofficial 

                      documents are acceptable if final copies are not yet available.


10.        Proof of English Proficiency

              All students are required to demonstrate proof of English proficiency sufficient to be succesful in a rigorous academic environment. Acceptable forms of evidence include:

  • TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) score of at least 70
  • TOEFL Paper-based test (PBT) score of at least 520
  • IELTS Academic Test score of at least 6.0 band
  • SAT Critical Reading Score of at least 450
  • ACT English score of at least 19

11.       Birth Certificate: Please send an English-language color copy of your birth certificate to



12.       Photographs

                a. All students should submit a digital copy of a passport-quality photograph of you in a 

                    collared shirt in front of a blue background.

                b. International students should also submit a passport-quality photograph of you in front

                    of a red background.

                c. Photographs should be between 300 KB and 1.5 MB in size.

13.        Passport

                a. Each international student must submit a color copy of his or her passport to


                b. The passport must be valid for at least 30 months beyond the first day of classes at the

14.        Certificate of Good Health

                a. You must submit an English-language certificate of good health from a doctor, clinic or 

                    hospital in your country.

                b. The certificate must indicate that you do not have any communicable diseases, such 

                     as Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and Hepatitis.
